One of the most recent rare collectibles are comic books that have been known to go for millions of dollars at a time.  These comics that are a better grade will get a higher asking price and the most valuable comics are those with recognisable characters especially first editions.  Finding these comics in good condition is a rare find and finding one will mean finding a treasure of high value.  Many collectors will dig deep to find money for these rare finds, and may well use their winnings from mobile betting sites to snap up rare editions.  (more…)

Antique Lady Chatterley’s Lover to Be Auctioned

An antique copy of the infamous DH Lawrence novel, Lady Chatterley’s Lover, is set to be auctioned off at Sotheby’s soon. It is the copy which was used by the judge who presided over the obscenity trial that took place in 1960. Lady Dorothy Byrne, wife to Judge Sir Lawrence Byrne, annotated this copy of the book, and additionally made some notes on notepaper bearing the Central Criminal Court letterhead on her opinion of the language that Lawrence had used in the book.  (more…)
